Job Description

Job Title : QA Engineer

Duration : 12+ Months (Possibility of Extn.)

Location : Basking Ridge, NJ

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts based on evolving use cases and product requirements.

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

• Perform concurrent testing activities in multiple environments (web, Android, iOS).

• Identify, report and track defects.

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.

• Perform thorough regression testing when issues.

• Conduct exploratory testing on evolving leading-edge product with a special focus on quality of user experience 

Requirements

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

• Knowledge of SQL and scripting.

• Experience with JIRA tools.

• Experience with performance and/or security testing.

• Experience with testing video applications

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

• 5+ Years’ experience working as a QA engineer.

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, processes and best practices.

• Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts.

• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
