Job Description

• Take part in designing and maintaining electronic modules used in life science instrumentation, including digital, power and mixed signal

• Participate detailed design, including board layout, fault analysis, costing, DFM and testing

• This position also requires some ability to collaborate with other life sciences related disciplines in bringing products to market

Qualifications

• Minimum BSEE or Equivalent

• Strong electrical engineering discipline training with 3+ years hands-on experience in electronic design, e.g. microprocessor based embedded system, power supply, motion control or others designs, knowledge of design for manufacturing/testing a plus

• Must demonstrate deep understanding of electronics circuit design theories

• Lab skills for measurement using various instruments required

• PADs/PadsLogic or OrCAD and PCB layout skills is required

• Knowing basic digital design including Microprocessor/DSP, RAM/ROM, CPLD/FPGA is required.

• A strong team player spirit required

• Familiarity with UL/CSA/TUY/CE requirements a plus.
