Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst

Duration: Long Term

Location: Washington, DC Metro Area

Job Description:

• As-Is technical architecture and organizational state.
• Provide thorough needs analysis of an organization.
• Provide business and functional requirements analysis services and System Requirements Specification document.
• Develop and manage Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Participate in software support and releases, to include system testing, user acceptance, deployment, and post-deployment activities.

Supplemental Duties:

• Experience developing technical architectures, including server architecture, network architecture, network flow, and security to include ports, firewalls, IP addresses, and rules.
• Experience working with sensitive data, specifically HIPAA compliance and security.
• Experience with medical applications.
• Experience with SharePoint 2010 or newer.
• Expert in the knowledge and application of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and RUP methodologies.
• Extensive experience leading business analysis tasks and coordinating the requirements gathering process.
• Ability to interface with client management personnel at all levels.
• Adept in written communications, and adaptable to a general style guide, capable of interpreting multiple documents and requirements into a single comprehensible document.
• Expert in MS Word, Expert in MS Excel, Expert in MS Visio.
• Accountable for business requirement management, validate requirement against deployed software releases. Assists in the reviews and preparation of incoming customer requests for system changes.
