In this role, the Planning Analyst will be responsible for planning, controlling, and scheduling production activities to ensure product standardization. Manages purchasing and timely delivery of materials, controlling deadlines and costs through ERP. Oversees inventory, issues manufacturing orders, and generates necessary reports. Handles the import process and coordinates international logistics and customs clearance, aiming to reduce lead time and prevent production disruptions.


Key Accountabilities

Production Planning and Scheduling:

  • Plan, control, and schedule production activities to ensure product standardization in the manufacturing process.
  • Control production deadlines, costs, perform cost estimates, issue orders, and ensure compliance with all negotiated conditions through ERP.
  • Monitor and promote improvements in production and productivity indicators in the ERP system.


Material Management:

  • Purchase materials and ensure timely delivery by monitoring the performance of suppliers and service providers, aiming to meet delivery deadlines to customers.
  • Manage the factory's incoming and outgoing materials (raw materials and finished products).
  • Control material inventory, issue and track manufacturing orders.
  • Analyze obsolete items, excess inventory, and other issues.


ERP System Management:

  • Generate ERP system reports necessary for supply execution (BOM, Shortage, etc.).
  • Monitor and promote improvements in production and productivity indicators in the ERP system.


Supplier and Import Management:

  • Handle the entire import process.
  • Manage the international supplier portfolio with daily or weekly follow-ups, interface with production, suppliers, and customers, and update critical item spreadsheets to prevent production disruptions.
  • Coordinate logistical actions abroad and customs clearance in Brazil for imports, working to reduce import lead time through process mapping with foreign parties, freight agents, and customs brokers.


What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should bring:


Educational and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, logistics/planning (Postgraduate qualification preferred).
  • 4-7 years planning experience in Logistics.
  • Experience in logistical processes (receiving/storage/production).
  • Demand planning and factory planning experience.
  • Experience in inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Experience in project management.


Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP/MRP systems like LN.
  • Knowledge of import and export routines.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies will be an asset.
  • Ability to understand complex engineer products.


Soft Skills

  • Intermediate English – writing and verbal are mandatory.
  • Strong, team-orientation with presence and a bias for action.
  • Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates a proactive problem-solving approach.
