Job Description
We are looking to fill a position for SQL DBA in New York City.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a functional DBA maintaining SQL Server databases, performance tuning by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products.
- Deep knowledge of T-SQL development and auditing of complex queries for optimal performance and improvement recommendations.
- Experience installing, configuring and maintaining SQL server databases running on MS Windows Server.
- Experience managing database security and user permission and privileges in accordance with application and database requirements.
- Experience with Data Quality tools (IBM Information Server or Informatica Data Quality)
- Experience with multidimensional Data Warehouses is a plus
- Working knowledge of UDB or DB2 LUW is a plus
- Experience migrating VSAM data to relational databases
- Experience in Data Modeling is a plus
- Experience in Pension Systems is a plus
