Job Description
Your tasks and responsibilities:
ā¢ Designs / codes core application frameworks for complex project that can be reused across the organization.
ā¢ Defines and enforces project development standards and best practices that are consistent with enterprise architecture standards, corporate standards and goals.
ā¢ Will be responsible for undertaking complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge in software development and provides expertise at top technical levels in particular business processes.
ā¢ Defines development tasks, assigns tasks to development team, and monitors and reports status of development tasks
ā¢ Coordinates with users and / or business analysts to understand requirements.
ā¢ Leads and participates in the development of software architecture documentation.
ā¢ Mentors and trains less-experienced software development staff.
Your skills and experience:
ā¢ A Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum of 7-10+ years experience.
ā¢ J2SE 5.0+, J2EE 5,6,7
ā¢ Experience in MVC Architecture
ā¢ Experience with the Spring Framework 2.5+
ā¢ Experience in Web-Tier J2EE frameworks such as Struts and JSF
ā¢ Experience at a Admin level with a J2EE Application Server (Web Logic, WebSphere or JBoss)
ā¢ Experience in JMS, JBossmq, JBoss Clustering
ā¢ Expertise in upgrading legacy Web applications to current J2EE technologies
ā¢ Experience with JavaScript and AJAX based UI frameworks
ā¢ Experience with ORM or persistence frameworks such as iBATIS and Hibernate
ā¢ Experience with XML, XSL, XPath, XML Schema
ā¢ Experience building applications using stored procedures, functions, and triggers on a RDBMS such as Postgres Server or Oracle Database.
ā¢ Developing / enabling Web Services that are SOA based to be used by ESB technologies, based on J2EE technologies using SOAP.
ā¢ Architecting and designing frameworks to be used by applications that are running on a J2EE platform
ā¢ Experience with Agile development methodology, Extreme Programming
ā¢ Experience with completing design artifacts using UML
ā¢ Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed
ā¢ Basic project management and organizational skills
