About this role

Children’s House Clubroom Guide

Childpeace Montessori School is seeking a Children’s House Clubroom Guide to work in our Children’s House program for 3- to 6-year-olds. The weekly schedule will be Monday-Friday 10:00am-6pm. This is a year-round position, with opportunities for professional growth during our summer programing.


The Clubroom Guide assists in implementing a Montessori approach to learning, preparing an aftercare environment for the children, and supporting the safety and relationships of children. Specifically, they will prepare and guide in an environment where napping and aftercare take place, adjacent to the morning classrooms. The Clubroom Guide will also supervise a Clubroom Assistant and collaborate with Classroom Guides regarding development of each child.


This position is ideal for those who have recently completed an AMI diploma or are looking to continue to refine their skill set among a highly experienced Children's House team.

 

This individual must register with Oregon Department of Education Early Learning Division, Central Background Registry prior to hire.
