Job Description

The Supply Chain Intern is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the company's supply chain operations. This includes procurement, logistics and inventory management. The role ensures efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and services from suppliers to the warehouse while maintaining quality and compliance standards. The internship term is a period of 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory control and transportation.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.

  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or excesses.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and quality standards.

  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to obtain the best value and service.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Assist in crisis management and resolving supply chain disruptions.

  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to align supply chain activities with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Fresh graduate

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
