Job Description
The Sales Representative works to improve our market position and achieve financial growth. This role defines short and long term sales strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales deals for all our Construction software’s
- Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts.
- Enter and update customer information in the database
- Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
- Achieving sales targets
- Attending and delivering sales presentations to potential clients
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory (region) analyses.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Providing guidance to other team members and other employees that report to him/her.
- Might be required to train other new recruits within the same department and having similar job description.
- Might be required to oversee sales activities in other territories beyond the specified region.
Qualifications
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Knowlegde in Software is a plus
- Knowledge in Construction is a plus
