Job Description

As the Programme Manager - Supply Chain Optimization, you will drive high impact, cross functional initiatives that directly influence product availability, inventory health, and vendor collaboration. You’ll shape the roadmap for availability and overstock performance, lead strategic projects, and strengthen the operational connection between our vendors’ and our internal supply chain.

What You’ll Do 

Strengthen Vendor Operations & Supply Chain Integration 

  • Lead  Supply Chain Collaboration initiatives with our vendors/manufactures  to identify efficiency improvements, reduce logistics cost, improve availability (e.g. collaborative forecasting, e2e product flow optimization, VMI)   
  • Partner with vendors and manufacturers to streamline their supply chain processes with the z+ ordering system and inbound processes. 
  • Be sponsor / key stakeholder for EDI rollout.  

Shape and Lead the Forecasting, Availability and Inventory Optimization Program 

  • Actively shape the strategic development of the Forecasting, Planning & Replenishment (FP&R) area, including target setting, roadmap definition, project selection, and prioritization together with the FP&R leadership team 
  • Ensure smooth execution of the FP&R roadmap with clear milestones, ownership, and consistent follow‑up across Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Procurement, Vendor Management, Logistics, Pricing, Tech etc 
  • Lead high‑impact cross‑functional projects that improve forecasting /planning accuracy, product availability, and stock efficiency. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance automation, stability, and scalability across forecasting, planning, and replenishment processes. 
  • Leverage data and analytics to challenge assumptions, drive informed decisions, and stimulate critical thinking and innovation. 

Qualifications

  • MBA/Master's Degree 
  • Advanced Excel user; experience with SQL and operations research skills are a plus 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights, uses data for decision making & prioritization of actions 
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment; builds scalable systems & processes, rather than just addressing single issues 
  • Strong attention to detail and effective prioritization, while keeping the big picture in mind 
  • Great team player with the ability to communicate and work with people on different levels, expertise, and locations  
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with can-do-anything attitude, understanding of business processes 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to present complex ideas 
  • 5+ years of working experience, including 3+ years in a project oriented and/or analytically focused roles (e.g. consulting, project management, business analyst) 
  • Experience within Procurement or Logistics/Operations, ideally focused on inventory / instock management
