About this role
BC Athletics is seeking enthusiastic Learning Facilitators to lead NCCP coaching courses in 2025. We are seeking active coaches who are passionate about facilitating and teaching NCCP Coach Education courses in a fun and engaging way. Learning Facilitators play a vital role in developing and supporting coaches by delivering high-quality instruction in their area of expertise, including:
- Run, Jump, Throw, Wheel
- Sport Coach
- Club Coach
- Performance Coach
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective coach education sessions using the NCCP model
- Demonstrate basic techniques and activities to support adult learning.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Qualifications:
- Min. of 5+ years coaching experience in Athletics
- Must have an active coaching practice
- Committed to continuous professional development
- Previous experience or education in adult learning/education
- Current BC Athletics Coach member in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate physical activities at a basic level
- NCCP Certified Learning Facilitator or willingness to complete training and certification requirements
- NCCP Certified in their area of expertise (ie. LF for Sport Coach must be Sport Coach Certified)
