About the role


Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is seeking an experienced and strategic Fundraising Manager to lead the Fundraising Team through its next season of growth and impact.  


Reporting directly to the Fundraising & Communications Director, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to bring strategic leadership and fundraising expertise to grow CAP’s regular income streams and ensure long-term financial sustainability. You will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that expand CAP’s supporter base, strengthen donor engagement and improve retention.


Key areas of responsibility include:


  • Develop and implement CAP’s annual fundraising plan, and support with long-term strategic planning
  • Lead and manage a team of 6, providing guidance and facilitating their professional development
  • Achieve annual income targets and supporter growth targets
  • Develop and implement effective reporting and forecasting mechanisms for both regular and one-off income streams

You’ll also bring relevant experience for the role:


  • 3+ years proven experience in a comparable fundraising leadership role
  • Proven success developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and best practice, including donor acquisition, retention and engagement
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading teams and driving performance
