Responsibilities:
Reporting to the MD/CEO, the person will be responsible for managing all local purchasing activities of the company. These will include processing local purchase requisitions, vendor selection, price and contract negotiations, ensuring non stocks out of regularly required items, market research, resolving vendor problems, maintaining and monitoring departmental purchase data, preparation of budget estimates etc.

Qualifications
Minimum of B.Sc/HND in purchasing and supply or related discipline.
MBA will be an added advantage
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the purchasing/supply preferably in a manufacturing sector
Age not above 45 years.
