Company Description
An international non-governmental organization currently implementing a program to improve the participation of key Nigerian stakeholders in electoral and political processes is looking for Nigerian citizens to fill positions within its offices in Abuja, Nigeria. These stakeholders include: political parties, election authorities, media and underrepresented groups such as women, youth and persons with disabilities. The specific objectives of its program are to strengthen capacity of domestic observers and party agents to monitor and state process. Enhance the democratic role and use of new and traditional media in the political process.
Job Description
The receptionist reports to the country director;
Responsibilities:
Maintain diary, schedule appointments, receive and channel phone calls.
Follow up and ensure timely action on correspondences.
General clerical duties such as filling, photocopying, scanning.
Receive and direct visitors and clients.
Assist to schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors.
Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
Qualifications
At least a bachelor’s degree or diploma.
Ability to perform multiple tasks quickly as well as meet deadlines.
Must be calm, courteous and professional.
Possess initiative, a positive attitude and have a strong value of loyalty, respect for confidentiality and discretion, dependability.
