Job Description

The Rentals Phone Operator is responsible for managing incoming calls from prospective tenants, current tenants, and other stakeholders. The role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide accurate information about available rental properties, rental processes, and company policies. The Rentals Phone Operator plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth rental experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer Incoming Calls: Answer the phone when a potential renter calls us, and explain the apartment in an exciting way, providing information about rental properties, availability, rental terms, and other related inquiries.
  • Customer Service: Assist prospective tenants with questions about rental properties, schedule property viewings, and provide follow-up information as needed.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments for property viewings with leasing agents or property managers.
  • Data Entry: Enter the tour time in the calendar so that our apartment manager (who works everyday at the apartment building) can show potential renters the apartment in person, 
  • Property Knowledge: send a confirmation text with the tour time to both the potential renter and our apartment manager so the apartment manager can see the appointment quickly, since most people who call want to see the apartment as soon as possible, usually the same day that they call 

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with a clear and friendly phone presence.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple calls and inquiries simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Additional Information

  • Compensation: 20,000.00 MXN monthly + benefits
  • schedule wed - sunday (12PM - 8PM)
