Job Description

This group is responsible for obtaining new and existing prescription renewals from dialysis facilities and/or physician offices through verbal authorizations via inbound/outbound calls. They will be securing prescription orders for patients whose prescriptions are not on file or for existing prescriptions that have no refills. They will be making outbound calls to follow up with Doctors regarding prescription issues, i.e. new scripts, clarify scripts, codes are incorrect, etc. They really like Techs from a retail or mail order environment! They will be on the phones all day, every day.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in Texas (no disciplines on file)

• WILL ALSO ACCEPT: Tech in Training, as long as they agree to obtaining their Registration within 6 months of hire

• Heavy data entry of prescriptions

• Detail-oriented with accuracy

• Strong data entry and typing skills

• Ability to cross train on the phone

• Personality & culture fit are very important!
