Job Description

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Do you want the chance to advance your career by joining a rapidly growing company? If you answered “yes" to any of these questions – this is the position for you!

Daily Responsibilities:  

• Review admissions through on-site and telephonic review to ensure medical necessity and appropriate level of care

• Act as clinical resources to referral staff and make appropriate referrals

• Data enters assessments, authorizations and reviews into the system

Hours for this Position: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Qualifications

• Prior Authorization experience from another managed care company or hospital 

• Experience with Interqual or Milliman is strongly preferred 

• Insurance experience (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
