Job Description
- Process inbox - Daily
- Process voicemail & return calls - Daily
- Q-lines
- Appointments
- Schedule & Re-Procedures
- Schedule Diagnostics
- Answer and return patient calls in a timely manner
- Documentation
- Constant communication with physician, medical assistant and staff
- Review doctors schedule weekly and daily and make/update changes for physicians schedule
- Follow up protocol β calls to patient on a weekly/bi-weekly basis
- Clearance prior to procedure processing
- Sending letters to patients
- Pull charts as needed
- Recall
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual
- Willing to travel to satellite offices, depending on docs schedules
- A Hard-worker β will be working over 8 hours at times.
- At least 1yr experience in Scheduling (medical field) /PROCEDURE SCHEDULING EXP specifically
- Must have hospital scheduling experienceΒ
- Willing to work closely with physician (cannot be shy)
- Must have Teamwork skills
- Must be a multi-tasker
- Must be able to get along with co-workers
- Must have 100% Customer service skills β our patients are #1
- Must have patience to handle difficult patients
- Must be professional in appearance and speaking
- Must be Organized and be able to problem solve
- Must know and understand that we document whenever we speak to patients
- Must be thorough & detailed in work
- MUST be courteous, nice, friendly, be great with customers/patients.
- MUST be organized and be a MULTI tasker β we are extremely busy!
Additional Information
Advantages of this Opportunity:
- $13-$14 (based on experience)
β’ Open to fluctuating hours β sometimes it will be 8-430 sometimes 10-630 and anywhere in the middle. If someone calls out, you may have to work 8-630 and need to be okay doing so
