Job Description

Company Job Description/Day to Day Duties:

• Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, process order entries and dispense medications accurately and timely for assigned area, utilizing the appropriate prescription processing technology
• Ensure that all prescription entries and dispensing are in compliance with all quality standards and programs
• Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, perform assigned duties associated with the entry, patient/health center contact, preparation, dispensing, and distribution of mail order prescriptions
• Receive and store incoming supplies. Verify stock and enter data to maintain inventory records
• Assist with various tasks assigned by the Pharmacist, patient care initiatives, prescription resolutions, including order/PAP drug check in and placement, drug return activities, physical inventories, over the counter fulfillment, and automation maintenance
• May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of pharm tech experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT)
• High school diploma
• Strong data entry skills

• Hours for this Position: Monday- Friday 8a-5p

• Pay $18.00 per hour, negotiable
