Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our full-stack development team. In this role, you will take ownership of features and modules, contribute to AI-powered applications, and work closely with senior engineers, product teams, and clients to deliver high-quality software solutions across diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications
• Build and integrate LLM-powered features and AI-assisted workflows into applications
• Actively work with AI code agents (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) to enhance productivity and code quality
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in system design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews
• Debug, optimize, and troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product, and design
• Communicate technical concepts clearly in client meetings and internal discussions
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Continuously improve development practices, performance, and security standards

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js for backend development
• Solid experience with React and Next.js for frontend development
• Working knowledge of Laravel/PHP (preferred but not mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and authentication flows
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and ORM frameworks
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment pipelines, or containerization (Docker) is a plus
• Good grasp of software architecture principles, design patterns, and performance optimization

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from FAST-NUCES or COMSATS University
• 2–3 years of professional software development experience
• Experience working on production-level applications and client-facing projects
• Demonstrated ability to independently handle modules or features end-to-end

Soft Skills & Communication

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership and accountability
