POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Planning Director, the Planning Clerk/Administrative Assistant will assist the Planning staff with projects and essential duties to maintain the Planning Office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Maintains a variety of administration records and accounts.
· Receives and forwards phone calls to appropriate personnel and takes messages as needed.
· Types letters, memorandums and other written material from rough drafts.
· Sets up virtual meetings, e.g. Teams & Zoom
· Files documents by designated categories and retrieves records and information from files as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
· High School diploma or GED.
· Must have 1-2 years of experience in an office environment, including appropriate skills in the use of office equipment and following procedures.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Microix v. 2022.003.1.
· Must have superior interpersonal skills and is community oriented.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Possess a valid Arizona Driver License and pass an MVR check.
