Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Denver, CO

Description Of Services

• Experience managing and provisioning computing infrastructure - processes, bare-metal servers, virtual servers utilizing Chef, Puppet, AWS
• Experience full stack J2EE
• Experience with stream processing tools - Storm, Kafka, Zookeeper
• Experience building RESTful services
• Experienced working on Linux (CentOS) dev. machines and Linux VMs - KVM. 
• Experience with Continuous delivery and continuous integration (CI/ CD) - tools and services - Jenkins 
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL DB such as - Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle DB 5.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and must be a quick learner with organized problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with working in short sprints in an Agile SCRUM software development model, good understanding of Scrum processes, tools (JIRA, Confluence), and artifacts (Stories, Tasks)  
• Understanding of telecom network and data (PCAP) a plus

Qualifications

• Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
• Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
• Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
• Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
• Participate as a team member of the development team
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Questions 

• Have you managed and provisioned computing infrastructure - processes, bare-metal servers, virtual servers utilizing Chef, Puppet, AWS?
• Do you have significant development expereience utilizing J2EE full stack - back-end and front-end?
