Job Description

You’ll be answering incoming calls, gathering and verifying demographic information, resolving basic and complex written and verbal member issues, and interpreting when needed.

• Answer incoming calls, gather information using the computer database, and route call appropriately to clinical staff when necessary.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness.

• Document calls using standard computer software.

• Conduct information gathering calls to assist clinical staff; document results in record.

• Verify demographic information, document in record.

• Ability to handle telephone conversations while typing at a rate of 35 words per minute.

• Multi-tasking, listening, inputting data, navigating through various screens while applying basic customer satisfaction techniques.

• Ability to work a full-time shift between the operating hours of 6 AM to 8 PM M-F and/or based on business needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a background that can match:

• Experience in medical interpretation preferred.

• 2 years incoming call center experience.
