Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Qualifications

Requirements:

ā€¢ Object-orientated PHP5

ā€¢ Experience with PHP Frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter or a general understanding of MVC frameworks

ā€¢ Familiarity with PHP ORM's such as Eloquent or RedBeanPHP

ā€¢ RESTful API Experience (and experience with PHP cURL library)

ā€¢ Experience with Command Line based PHP scripting.

ā€¢ MySQL/PostgreSQL and/or Oracle Databases

ā€¢ HTML and current CSS styling

ā€¢ JavaScript, jQuery or Prototype experience is a plus.

ā€¢ Linux command line, BASH, and writing shell scripts

ā€¢ Subversion or GIT source code management tools

ā€¢ Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications.

ā€¢ Experience with Vagrant and Oracle Virtual Box is a plus.

ā€¢ Strong conceptualization and visual communication abilities.

ā€¢ Exceptional attention to detail.
