Job Details:

Job Title: Insurance Management - Telematics Solutions Lead

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Torrance, CA

Duties and Responsibilities:

This role will be assigned to support client’s telematics systems implementation the following key responsibilities:

· Responsible for defining Business processes in alignment with business model

· Responsible for defining functional and non-functional requirements for applications and systems to support defined business processes in collaboration with business operations lead, analytics lead, business partners

· Actively support system development architecture, design, build, testing and implementation

· Responsible for the execution of testing activities

· Assist in day-to-day activities of development

· Act as the liaison between application support and operations team and external partners

Requirements:

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience and Skills

· Minimum of 8+ years applicable experience

· 3+ year’s applicable experience in Telemetry and real time data analytics

· 5+ year’s applicable experience in Data warehouse and big data systems

· 3+ years applicable experience in Web/Mobile applications delivery

· Experience in project management. PMP certification is a plus

· Prior Experience in Telematics and Usage base Insurance model is a plus

· Successfully completed studies within computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics or comparable degree. Master’s degree is a plus

Specialized Skills / knowledge

· Ability to define business processes and drive business requirements elicitation process

· Knowledge of Big data and data warehouse architecture, design and implementation

· Experience in telemetry data processing, data analytics and Big data platforms such as Netezza, Cloudera and BigInsights

· Experience in SOA design and build

· Prior experience using cloud managed service providers is a plus

· Ability to work independently and as a team member

· Excellent communication skills
