Senior Pool Service Technician
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Pool Service Technician to join our growing team.
This is a senior-level role suited to someone with extensive experience in pool systems, plumbing, diagnostics, repairs, and concrete pool operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the service department, mentoring technicians, and delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pool industry
- Strong background in plumbing and hydraulic systems
- Extensive knowledge of concrete pools and pool construction
- Strong understanding of pool filtration systems and equipment
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex pool and equipment issues
- Full driver’s licence
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Diagnose and repair pool system faults and equipment failures
- Install, repair, and maintain:
- Pumps
- Filters
- Chlorinators
- Heaters
- Automated systems
- Pipework and valves
- Carry out plumbing and hydraulic repairs
- Troubleshoot water quality and circulation issues
- Work on concrete pools including understanding of:
- Structural components
- Plumbing layouts
- Filtration design
- Water balancing
- Complete service jobs efficiently and to a high standard
- Support and mentor junior technicians
- Provide technical advice and problem-solving support to the team
- Maintain accurate job notes and communicate clearly with clients
- Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
- Assist with system upgrades and project work where required
