We are looking for an exceptional People and Culture Advisor to join our growing business and help us continue building a workplace where great people can thrive, grow, and do meaningful work together.

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will join a collaborative team of five across People and Culture, Health and Safety, and Training, supporting a workforce of almost 150 employees across the business.

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves people, enjoys building strong relationships, and brings energy, initiative, professionalism, and a practical approach. Someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team and genuinely cares about making things better.

We see strong systems, automation, and quality people data as critical to improving efficiency, supporting better decision-making, and creating a better employee experience. The goal is simple โ€” spend less time on administration and more time focused on initiatives that genuinely improve outcomes for our people, teams, and ultimately our clients.

About the Role

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same, with real opportunity to contribute ideas, improve how we work, and help shape the future of People and Culture within the business. You will take ownership of many facets including recruitment, employee experience, onboarding, systems, reporting, and day-to-day advisory support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting leaders and employees with practical and timely advice
  • Managing recruitment processes and delivering outstanding candidate experiences
  • Proactively sourcing candidates and building talent pipelines
  • Supporting employment branding initiatives and promoting Humphreys Landscaping as a great place to work
  • Coordinating onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
  • Payroll coordination, Human Resources systems, and reporting
  • Helping improve systems, processes, and employee experience initiatives

What You Will Bring

  • Solid experience in a similar P&C or recruitment role
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Confidence managing recruitment and employee lifecycle activities
  • A proactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience using and improving Human Resources systems and processes
  • Interest or exposure to sourcing, employment branding, or immigration processes would be beneficial
  • A genuine care for people and creating positive workplace experiences
