About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function of the business. This is a part-time role (up to 0.8 FTE) offering flexibility for the right candidate.
Your primary focus will be Accounts Payable, supplier payments, and assisting with month-end processes while ensuring excellent communication with both internal teams and external suppliers.
This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work closely with operational teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, matching invoices to purchase orders and job codes.
- Managing Accounts Payable and supplier reconciliations
- Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Responding to supplier queries and maintaining positive supplier relationships
- Assisting with month-end financial processes and reporting
- Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and accounting tasks
- Liaising with project managers, operational teams, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with process improvements and ad hoc projects

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable, or similar finance role (construction/trade industry preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to support the wider team
- Experience with Simpro and/or MYOB Acumatica would be highly regarded, but is not essential
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
