Job Description
- Responsible for Full cycle, high volume, Accounts payable process
- Check and approve all vouchers for payment and review for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Responsible to handle all vendor inquiries in a professional manner
- Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms with vendors as directed
- Prepare accounts payable checks
- Print all accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files
- Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
- Assist in monthly closings
- Process expense reports and employee reimbursements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting
- Technical knowledge of accounting regulations, policies and procedures
- Strong computer skills including accounting databases, Excel, QuickBooks and other software
- Detail- and deadline-oriented
- Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
