Public Student Loan Forgiveness eligibility, free LLPC and CAADC supervision, and hands-on experience providing substance use disorder (SUD) services within a correctional setting are just a few of the benefits available to our full-time therapists.
Clinton Counseling Center’s Jail Program provides substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment services to individuals incarcerated in the Macomb County Jail. In addition to clinical services inside the jail, our team delivers prevention programming within the facility and Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution (OEND) services throughout the community.

Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy services
- Complete discharge and transition planning
- Facilitate prevention groups within the jail setting
- Deliver OEND education to community members, businesses, and organizations
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Complete required trainings within established timeframes
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Michigan licensure: LLPC, LPC, LLMSW, or LMSW
- CAADC certification through MCBAP, or willingness to submit an MCBAP Development Plan upon hire
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in a clinical field
- Ability to obtain and maintain Macomb County Jail Security Clearance
