Job Description
- At least 4 years of experience in the following areas :
- Expert level PLSQL development on Sybase 12.5,15.0 and Oracle 11.0.
- SQL Development -Understand business requirements and create data feeds for downstream systems, Ad-hoc business reporting.
- Performance Tuning-Tune SQL / DB parameters for aiding application performance
- Sybase DB Replication-Understand and resolve Sybase (master-master) replication issues
- Oracle DB Replication- Golden Gate/Data Guard and oracle 11g RAC Architecture
- Unix shell scripting, Perl-Work on Unix platform
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica.
- Ability to Take ownership of DB environments
- Ability to Plan and implement DB releases as per application enhancements
- At least 2 years of experience working on DB objects designing for incoming / outgoing data
- At least 2 years of experience working on Administration of DB Issues / provide technical help to support Teams
- At least 2 years of experience working on Database maintenance Device DB Capacity & Statistics collection plans
- At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development life cycle.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience to Financial Services or Capital Markets domain
- Analytical skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies.
