Job Description
- At least 7 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
- At least 3 years of experience in Veritas / AIXSkills.
- Expert in design, implementation &administration of HA solutions like VERITAS Cluster Services, IBM Power HA etc. preferably Symantec Certified Professional for VERITAS Cluster Administration.
- Expert in designing & administering VERITAS Storage Foundation and VERITAS NetBackup 5.1.
- Experienced in VERITAS Volume Manager Administration VxVm, CFS, GPFS.
- Install, configure, and administer AIXv5.3/6.1/7.1 on IBM P5 & P7 series servers.Design and manage disk space using AIX Logical Volume management
- Create and modify file systems, Logical Volume, Physical Volumes, Volume Group. Export and import non root volume groups across servers.
- User and File system management and administration.
- Install the OS patches and update the ML levels as per the requirements.
- Analytical and Communication skills Project and talent management.
- Experience with project management.
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience with IT Infrastructure Skill Set
