Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Oversee runway construction works, including paving, surfacing, and associated infrastructure
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
- Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders
- Identify and resolve on-site challenges promptly
Qualifications
- National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Valid registration with SACPCMP (Professional Construction Supervisor or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in construction supervision
- Proven experience working on airport runway/road projects
- Preferred Requirements:
Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects
Familiarity with South African construction regulations and standards
