Job Description

Skills and Experience needed

At your interview you will be expected to demonstrate real world experience (with examples) of ALL of the following:

· Strong theming experience in Drupal 7 (mandatory), with some recent experience in Drupal 8 (nice to have)

· MUST be familiar with using vagrant and ansible (or similar) so you can quickly set up a local development environment

· MUST have worked with SASS

· MUST have worked with git, and drush

· MUST have solid Javascript skills - jQuery required, front-end frameworks (Angular, React) desirable

· MUST be able to create modular and scalable CSS architectures using BEM/SMACSS/OOCSS (any of the three)

· You’ll be involved directly with our clients on conference calls and group chats so strong English is a must

· Experience with Twig

· Experience implementing grids using frameworks like singularitygs

· Experience with responsive menus

· Good understanding and application of image ratios.

· Nice to have experience with Jira (ticketing system) and composer

· Ability to turn a design package into a responsive Drupal 7 or 8 theme

· Ability to liaise with design team and interpret and implement behavioural documents (eg parallel scrolling functionality, carousel behaviours etc).

· Willingness to participate in project documentation

· Demonstrable experience of working on projects that incorporate user centred design, wireframing, prototyping and sprint based delivery.

· Proven experience of being part of a team that has delivered high-performance Drupal websites

Other:

· Good back end coding (PHP) skills are a plus, but this is primarily a front end role.

· Friendly, approachable, modest team player - prima donnas need not apply
