Job Description

ā€¢ Proficiency with Big Data processing technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flume, Oozie, HBase, Solr, Cassandra)

ā€¢ Experience with 1 or more Hadoop distributions such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, Apache etc.

ā€¢ 5 years of hands-on experience in building enterprise software using Java in the space of Big Data Analytics.

ā€¢ Strong database fundamentals including SQL, performance and schema design.

ā€¢ Strong programming skills in Java

ā€¢ Strong experience designing and building REST style web services

ā€¢ Strong written and communication skills

ā€¢ Experience working with authentication models is a plus

ā€¢ Experience in using and managing change management tool Git and build server software Jenkins

ā€¢ Experience with testing tools and techniques, ex. Junit

ā€¢ Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing Agile environment

ā€¢ Scripting skills in at least one of the following: Python, Shell, Bash

Qualifications
