Job Description

ā€¢ Develop and maintain HTML, CSS and JavaScript for curriculum content


ā€¢ Design, enhance and maintain HTML5-based simulations


ā€¢ Manage PHP scripts and a MySQL database in support of an online authoring tool, content creation and user management system


ā€¢ Manage backend services running on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) server


ā€¢ Deploy content to, and provide maintenance of, a web hosting service


QUALIFICATIONS


ā€¢ High school diploma or equivalent.


ā€¢ B.S or MS in Computer Science or a related field


ā€¢ A minimum of 6 years' experience with web technologies; including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and MySQL databases


ā€¢ Experience with HTML5, use of the canvas element and multimedia APIs a plus


ā€¢ Experience with responsive web design a plus


ā€¢ Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and EC2 a plus


ā€¢ Object oriented design experience
