About this role

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen & Facility Cleaner to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for both staff and customers. The successful candidate will support daily operations by following cleaning schedules and assisting the Duty Manager as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Duties
Empty trash cans and replace liners throughout the building
Flatten cardboard boxes and dispose in dumpster
Maintain cleanliness around dumpster and outdoor areas
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and bakery equipment
Follow proper 3-sink dishwashing method (wash, rinse, sanitize)
Sweep and mop all kitchen, bakery, dining, customer, and back areas
Clean and sanitize kitchen sink and prep areas
Check, clean, and restock all washrooms (upstairs & downstairs)
Organize clean dishes and equipment in designated areas
Complete additional cleaning tasks assigned by Duty Manager
Weekly Deep Cleaning
Clean under kitchen equipment, shelves, and legs
Walls, ceilings, corners, and light fixtures
Walk-in coolers and dry storage areas
Outdoor carry-out areas
Hoods, vents, pizza grill, windows, and back areas
What We’re Looking For
Previous cleaning, janitorial, or kitchen experience (preferred but not required)
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
 
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
