About this role
Dakota Kitchen & Bath is actively seeking a knowledgeable, reliable, outgoing and experienced Sales Rep for our Retail Sales department. The right individual will possess at least 1 year of Cabinet design experience as well as relevant sales experience. This position will require the candidate to Consult, Design and Sell our Custom, frameless & dimension cabinets to consumers and/or contractors.
A typical day within this role with include but not be limited to:
Greeting customers and discovering what each customer wants or needs.
Describing cabinets and be equipped to explain use, operation, and care of cabinets as well as recommending, selecting and obtaining merchandise based on customer wants and needs.
Providing timely customer service to all accounts.
Maintain records related to sales.
Ability to layout, design and accurately measure jobs and finalize plans for production.
Cold calling potential customers/new contractors
Skills & Abilities required:
Education: High School graduate or GED *Required. An Associates Degree with focus on Cabinet Design or Drafting *Preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cabinet Retail Sales
Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS Office programs necessary, plus the ability to learn internal programs such as Cabinet Vision & Dakota
