Job Title: Systems Engineer III
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
- Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems.
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8 to 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Write, translate and enhance advanced PowerShell scripts and webservice API (Rest/SOAP) (Other Languages: Perl, TCL, C#, XML, SQL DB Queries)
- Troubleshoot network, system, or code issues and resolve in timely manner with detailed follow up.
- Integration of IT tools with orchestration processes
- Create and modify runbooks with Microsoft Orchestrator 2012
- Understand collections, patching, application packaging with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012.
- Submit necessary standard documents for production deployment
- Peer review code, runbooks, technical documentation, and project solutions before production release.
- Represent team, self, or project with utmost respect for audience, clear communication, cooperative attitude.
- Attend status and team meetings, complete project status, time tracking, and mandatory learning courses by or before deadline.
- Flexible to work outside of business hours to perform code, system changes in accordance to change management policies.
- Implement changes with minimal impact to the business by following enterprise standards and procedures
- Provide technical support as needed for automation services.
- Some travel required between Chicago offices (Mount Prospect, Chicago) or other off-site locations.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
