One of our Fortune 500 clients working in the Financial Services Domain is recruiting for Drupal Developer to add to their team for the location Austin, TX 78758. The duration of the assignment is expected to be 12+ months (high possibility of extension). Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Will participate in the design and implementation of web applications using cutting-edge web technologies and will also participate in various software engineering projects using advanced development patterns and component-based architecture.
• Will actively collaborate with the team in ongoing product development, including design, development, review, integration, test, and deployment activities.
• Must have the ability to be self-directed and able to work with an extended, remote team to deliver products in a timely manner.
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced development environment that continually embraces the latest technologies and techniques.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET framework, ASP.NET development, jQuery, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries is required.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development, experience with a software development IDE such as Visual Studio is preferred but not required.
• Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Requirement:

PHP development; full cycle

• OO PHP programming a plus
• Other programming languages are a plus, including: C#/Asp.Net, Java
• Web services, SOAP or REST, and API knowledge is a plus

Linux, includes Shell programming

Apache

• Knowledgeable in web server configuration and maintenance

MySQL

Amazon AWS S4 or other vendor cloud knowledge is a plus

Web front end development experience

Familiarity with a Git repository is a plus

Modern Agile tools a plus, e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Experience with Drupal

• Drupal 7 and 8 experience preferred
• Module creation and development a plus
• Plugin development a plus
• Acquia experience even higher plus
