Job Description:

Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical). Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoots and diagnoses difficult, infrequent problems with equipment. System operation includes, but is not limited to, clean steam, chilled water, cooling towers, compressed air systems, Bioreactors, Centrifuges, CIP skids, RO/DI and pharmaceutical grade water systems (WFI water) equipment under GMP operation. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures - Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills - Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers - Solves a range of straightforward problems - Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures - Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction Undergraduate/BA/BS degree in applicable discipline and 3-5 Yrs of related experience.

o GMP/GLP Knowledge/Experience
o Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
o Maintain proper documentation for all maintenance activities.
o Perform emergency and corrective repairs on all process related equipment and utilities.
o Thoroughly perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on all equipment and systems in order to maximize facility uptime and equipment availability.
o Read, comprehend and apply written or verbal instructions accurately; high attention to detail.
3. Top 3-5 desirable attributes/qualifications:
o Assist validation as required with IQ/OQ of equipment or systems.
o Under supervision of Automation & Equipment Engineering Management, perform equipment installations or modifications as required.
4. Required levels experience and/or education:
o Technical degree in a maintenance trade or technical training and/or work experience associated with mechanical and/or electrical fields; minimum of (5) years of experience as an industrial maintenance or service technician.
5. Work schedule: Monday through Friday; may vary slightly, generally within 7:00 -5:00 time. Minimal overtime
6. Interview process: 15-20 minute phone screen followed by a 3hr onsite interview
7. Interview location: 502 Brandywine Parkway, Wes Chester PA 19380
