Day to Day Responsibilities: Conduct lab testing, record results in electronic lab notebook, write test protocol and report, troubleshoot issues on primary container closure system.

Job Descriptions:

This position reports into the Container Science & Engineering (CSE) group under Device Technology in Thousand Oaks. The position requires organizational, engineering & technical problem solving and communication (written and verbal) skills, and the ability to work in teams and adapt to rapidly changing environment.

This position is minimally responsible and accountable for the following: 1) Write test protocols, conduct tests and issue report for evaluation of container closure integrity of combination products. 2) Develop the container closure integrity test methods. 3) Provide supports to other engineers for various projects such as primary container qualification activities, technology transfer from clinical to commercial or from site to site for both combination products and equipment processes 4) Ensures cGMP and regulatory compliance are met 5) Provide supports in the assessment, development, and implementation of solutions for complex problems relating to primary container closure systems.

Qualifications: BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering 1-2 years general engineering experience, Demonstrated Competencies/Skills: 1) Independent thinker with demonstrated skills working in teams 2) Strong Interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
