Job Description

Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual budget preparation and accruals, which will include completing cost center budget templates by utilizing SAP and excel based financial models.
• Create Purchase Order and manage subsequent invoices as they come in to the VMO. Ensure each has been properly validated and all relevant data matches. Perform routine troubleshooting steps. Escalate new or complex issues to contract manager.
• Log and transfer invoice data into various excel spreadsheets as directed.
• Perform routine validations of project documents and payments. Where applicable, provide VMO approval within Amgen PMO’s project management tool.
• Run regular invoice reports and provide data related to invoice aging and status.
• Work with offsite suppliers to gather monthly accrual information.
• Review and validate contract change requests.
• Run Excel and SAP based reports; prepare data and present results.
• Gain an understanding of the current business process to support day-to-day operations and obtain an understanding of the 'to-be' business process. Create and maintain processes for internal management.

• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize, interpret, communicate and present information effectively.
• Experience in working with financial budgeting/analysis.
• Aptitude for learning and working within systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• SAP experience.
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.
• Experience with sourcing/ service contracts is desirable.
