Job Description
- Must have good understanding of graphic design principles and an appreciation for typography, color, and effective composition
- Good understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and how designs will translate to code
- Experience creating pages using a CMS (ie. WordPress or Drupal)
- Collaborate with fellow designers, as well as product and development teams to ensure design is consistent with style guides and best practices
- Understanding and appreciation of how interface design works in an Agile development environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs clearly
- Portfolio of interactive web or mobile app prototypes and designs
Qualifications
- Hub team is looking for design and development support to help set direction of next generation of employee tools and services.
- Potential extension on duration for right candidate.
- Primary responsibility will be to support the creation of new websites using our custom site builder tool and help develop the tool further with new ideas and page templates.
- This is primarily a hybrid designer / developer role and must have a good eye for design as well as being able to create HTML & CSS code.
