The North America Bank and Mortgage Digital Marketing Team supports acquisition and post-acquisition / existing customer monetization through digital channels including paid search, organic search, display, affiliate, social, content and site optimization for the bank and mortgage businesses. Role Description: 

The SEM Marketing Channel Manager has end to end ownership of Client s online acquisition campaign efforts. This position will offer recommendations regarding development of creative assets, key term development, channel testing strategy and advise the business on which products should be marketed/tested and test design. This position will manage the SEM marketing budget, agency and vendor relationships. This position reports to and supports the Paid Digital Marketing Team Lead whose primary responsibility is to drive growth in new customer accounts from paid digital marketing efforts for the Bank and Mortgage Consumer businesses. The SEM Channel Manager will be passionate about keeping up with and utilizing technologies to test and optimize within the channels. 

Specific Responsibilities: 

Develop campaign strategies in owned channels that align with business and product objectives. 

Accountability for achieving campaign and business goals. 

Execute campaign management across existing programs and optimize creative, messaging and acquisition landing pages to generate business results 

QA ad copy, landing pages and sitelinks pre and post launch 

Document and QA record retention as per the process manual as required for business audit on a quarterly basis 

Manage and track SEM monthly budget and performance to ensure key performance indicators are efficiently met month over month 

The Ideal Candidate: 

Will have 3-5 years of experience in SEM online media/marketing. This experience will preferably be with an established consumer or financial services firm with an innovation focus and a strong online presence 

Prior experience working with agencies and/or vendors preferred 

Bachelor s degree in marketing or related field required 

Work experience in Financial Services a plus 

Entrepreneurial and energetic engaged in online activities 

Process and detail oriented 

Ability to develop recommendations and execute against them 

Experience with SEM technologies and ad servers, such as Marin and Atlas, Doubleclick 

Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Strong interpersonal skills 

Strong analytical skills with the ability to look at the broader perspective as it relates to business strategy 

Strong internal marketer; able to win support of peers, seniors and juniors for projects 

Business Knowledge - Has a comprehensive understanding of the business, the organizational structure and key business challenges. Can create a platform with the other businesses that aligns with business operations and delivers a consistent brand experience. 

Internet Marketing Expertise Comprehensive internet marketing expertise including a firm grasp of latest internet industry trends, the ability to understand technical requirements and knowledge of leaders in the space. 

Influencing Strengths Experience leading in a matrix organization and motivating peer group and business unit leaders through strong advocacy for the holistic vision. 

Analytical Skills - Has strong competency in providing analytical insight for marketing initiatives, brand planning and tracking, and budgeting.

Bachelor s degree in marketing or related field required
