Job Description

Skill1 - Usability Apply heuristics to design problems involving color or font choice, layout,photography or spot art, etc. Create individual brand elements, visual designtemplates, streaming and rich media applications, and design prototypesCreate/Maintain branding standards and style guides Tool Expertise in AdobePhotoshop, Illustrator

Skill2 - Usability Apply usability heuristics to design problems Understand the technicallimitations of Internet technology o Evaluate the presentation layer of commonsoftware packages o Understand Web technical constraints vs. client/serverUnderstand best practices in web system navigation Interact with the Clientand stakeholders to gather requirements. Conceptualize the Portal layout Usevarious prototyping tools to create page flows and schematics Apply an expertunderstanding of user interface technologies Browser Dependent / IndependentFeatures HTML / DHTML / JavaScript Understanding of XML / XSL/XHTMLUnderstanding of JSP / Java / Servlets /Applets/ASP.Net/PHP Use various webediting tools and techniques Create cleanly coded templates that are easilyapplied and extended Build and refine HTML prototypes Translate digitalcontent (e.g., Microsoft Word to HTML or PDF) Maintain coding standards andguidelines Create / Maintain CSS, JavaScript Codes Optional skills - Ajax,Google Webtool Kit, Yahoo Web toolkit Tool Expertise in MacromediaDreamweaver, Editplus
