The Lenovo Product Specialist is a new role for Cyclone. This role serves as Cyclone’s primary Lenovo subject matter expert and internal advocate, enabling Account Managers and sales teams to confidently position Lenovo solutions across IDG, ISG, and SSG portfolios. Success in the role comes from high level of technical and commercial understanding across Lenovo’s full portfolio, offerings, programs, and strategic initiatives, measured by internal engagement and advocacy, influenced pipeline creation, growth in Lenovo mix and share, and increased sales team participation in Lenovo programs and campaigns.
The Lenovo Product Specialist will take a disciplined approach to proactive opportunity creation, early-stage Lenovo positioning, solution-led selling, managing/administering partnership tools and programs, and end customer engagement alongside Cyclone’s Account Managers (roadmaps, joint calls).

What you will do:
In this busy role, you will act as Cyclone's go-to Lenovo Champion and subject matter expert, providing guidance across Lenovo's full portfolio (IDG, ISG, SSG). You will provide outstanding service and go the extra mile for our customers while identifying new business opportunities. Ultimately, to be successful in this position you will collaborate with our sales team to achieve targets while keeping our clients delighted and engaged with our Lenovo products and services. This position may require occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a subject matter expert as required in a pre-sale's capacity on Lenovo product
- Have a firm understanding of Lenovo configurations, particularly IDG
- Review national opportunities & quotes with a view to upsell
- Drive ongoing internal advocacy and sales team engagement, ensuring Lenovo is positioned early and effectively in opportunities.
- Act as an internal educator and escalation point for complex Lenovo opportunities and solution design.
- Maintain a high level of technical and commercial understanding across Lenovo’s product range, offerings,
programs, and strategic initiatives (e.g., Workstations, Education 360, ISG solutions). - Promote higher-value solution selling, including services, infrastructure, and advanced end-user solutions
- Support the development of customer proposals involving Lenovo solutions, ensuring strong technical and commercial alignment.
