Job Description

Title: GoLang Developer

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 12 Months

· Must Have Skills

o At least 6 months to year of GoLang

o Mac & Linux Savey

§ Deploy to Linux environment

§ Use Mac based tools for development

o Eagerness to learn

o Eagerness to take lead on project

o Work independently, but not scared to raise hand for help

o Self-starter

o Looking for backend skills

§ HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is NOT relevant

· Desired (Nice to have) Skills

o Mpeg

§ Mpeg dash standard

· Audio and video

o Familiar with IP Video delivery

o Other experience could be C, C++

· Project Details

o Building GoLang based testing framework to verify XML documents are properly formed for video distribution system

o Framework also needs to confirm video stream and elements are being executed and formed correctly

§ Automating verification of SML document and streams

o Impacting Comcast’s Video IP distribution system

§ This element in the middle of the Video IP Delivery pipeline

§ Take content that’s in Mpeg Dash format and adjusting so it’s correctly delivered to customer on appropriate channels

· Managing users on blackout.

· Years

o Ideally 3 or more years of experience

o Someone junior may struggle as looking for someone to design this solution
