Job Description

REQUIRED SKILLS  

• BS/MS in molecular biology or related field 

• 1+ year of laboratory experience

• gDNA/RNA preparation

• northern/southern blot analysis.

• Molecular biologist to aid in characterization of recombinant mammalian cell lines. Requires BS/MS in molecular biology or related field and at least one year of laboratory experience. 

• Must be familiar with general cell culture techniques (ex. aseptic passaging of cell lines), RNA, cDNA and genomic DNA preparation, DNA/RNA quantitation like ddPCRor taqman, and Southern analyses.

• Experience with molecular cloning techniques such as plasmid construction using Gibson assembly, DNA sequencing technologies and analysis of DNA sequencing data are strongly desired. 

REQUIRED PERSONALITY TRAITS: 

• Team oriented, fast learner, good attention. 

• Responsible for general laboratory and operational support. Including providing logistical support for samples and compounds management, ordering supplies and carrying out general bench work activities.
