Job Description

  • Performs operations necessary for calibration of equipment that may include testing, adjusting, and maintaining measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards.Ā 
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.Ā 
  • Performs highly supervised, routine calibrations of laboratory and/or production equipment, following SOP and in accordance with GMP.Ā 
  • Provides assistance to more senior technicians on daily tasks.Ā 
  • Accurately follows oral and written procedures in calibrating basic measurement equipment, and performing testing procedures.Ā 
  • Recognizes deviations from the normal results.Ā 
  • Requires some of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position at this level.Ā 
  • Receives detailed instructions on all work. Work is closely monitored and generally reviewed by supervisor. Some site to site travel may be required.Ā 


Qualifications

ā€¢ Experience: 3 to 6 years.Ā 

ā€¢ Skills: This person must have prior experience working in the Allston Landing Metrology Department. This is a must have skill. It is not negotiable.Ā 

ā€¢ Education: A high school education is the minimum required.Ā
